Your reply also has another name, Curtis Ransom STITT, which is another clue to a possible connection. My husband's Gt. Gt. Grandfather was Frenis Ransom PETERS & according to Frances PETERS (in a letter that she wrote to one of Frenis' children), Frenis & she were very close, so it is no wonder that she might give a child of hers a name connected to her brother.
I think we need to research these people closer to establish the link.
