I have a marriage certificate of my Grandparents married in Newtownards Road Methodist Church 14th July 1919. My Grandfathers' name was James Stitt from 182 Newtownards Road (Belfast) He was married at the age of 23 to Phoebe Elizabeth Gamble age 21, from 48 Solway Street ( Newtownards Road Belfast)
My father died 20+ years ago, but I do remember him telling me that his mother died when he was a young child and he was brought up by an aunt Barbara. His father did remarry but I don't know her name. Perhaps it could have been Sarah.
I noticed that this message was posted quite awhile ago, but I would be very interested in finding out if you have any further info.
