I have found Sarah Stitt (1795-1875) with the following information:
Father - Robert Stitt B: Abt 1764 - Grayson Co. VA, D: Between 1822-1823 in Montgomery Co, VA.
Mother - Jane Sayers B: 1768

Found Robert Stitt's father to be Drury Stitt B: abt 1730
Robert Stitt had children other than Sarah. You can refer to this website and search on Sarah Stitt and you should find them.

An interesting point on Sarah Stitt. I have the Ashe Co. NC Heritage Volume II and found Sarah's name to be spell Stilt instead of Stitt.

Hope this information is helpful to you.
