I HOPE we can make a connection!

I have researched my St. Johns for years, the earliest one that I have is William St John and he is found in NYC directory of 1832. He was a butcher and married to a Hannah Lynch, daughter of James Lynch.

What is interesting is that I have found some Tilotsons, but not sure how they are connected to my St. Johns other than that they were living at the same address at one time or another. I notice you spell yours Tilton. Did any of your Tilton's live in NYC area? I know that William and Hannah had a grand daughter with a middle name of Cary born in the 1880's.
