In part of the documentation Richard being a 3 or 4th son would receive nothing from the estate. He elected to go to Ireland.. There too I have not been able to pick up the line. But I know for certain that Thomas St. John of Ireland in the year 1651 landed in Virginia as an apprentice, later after saving monies married Mary and had his children in Essex, Virginia.

This is part of the key that Sophia St. John (Mrs. A.O. St.John) both retired and now living in Wales. Also this past year the current Viscount Grandison, died and his son inherited his title.

From her papers and information, She has stated that Richard went to Ireland, this was part the the help of the St. John line to help with the management of Ireland. Richard was also given a title.
