Actually I was just curious if Mathias was Michael. Without seeing the "inscription" and its exact wording it is hard to understand the context in which this Michael appeared. Could Richard have had a son, Michael, Could his brother been young enough to be "Mathias, aka Michael" or simply a coincidence that Matthias is recorded as Michael in US and Richard has a mysterious brother, Michael appearing once.

Does Michael sound phonetically like Mathias or Mathew in some regard? Could he have changed his name to avoid persecution of some sort, etc?

I just noticed two instances of Michael appearing and just wanted to bring everyone aware of them both at the same time. I think its highly interesting that Michael appears in relation to Matthias in US and in relation to Richard in England, that's all. I have no theory but just more curiosity.
