I have combed through Ancestry looking for Michael St. John, Sention, Sension, in England and Ct. and have come up with nothing that is age appropriate.

One thing that IS certain, Matthias was Matthias in New England. His name is chiseled in the Founding Fathers stone in Norwalk, along with his son Matthias, Jr.

I see how you are making the connection, but not certain as to its relevance in our particular case. Let's keep our eyes open in the event that it becomes more of a possibility.

That Brooke-Little abstract that you are quoting does a lot of theorizing as well. Which goes to show you that not ALL of the NOBLE St. Johns ARE well documented like many posture. So kudos to you for bringing that fact to light!
