How exciting! It would be wonderful to see what info you have.

Do you know anything about William? I have him in Ohio in 1850, Iowa in 1860, and back in Ohio to register for the civil war. I don't think he fought but his son Seneca did so. Seneca (assuming these people really are who I think they are) was in the war on the Union side and settled in Iowa. He was not in the same county as William or Charles but was nearby. Charles apparently spent some time with his big brother or somehow lived with a neighbor of Seneca. I have not tried to follow Hannah but it would be great to hear about her.

Charles married my great grandmother in 1885 but she died in 1891 after my grandfather's birth. Charles remarried and moved to Riverside, CA. I live close to Riverside and have managed to score Charles' death certificate. I can offer that and a couple of photos if you like. Mostly I would like to fill in some gaps in William's story and maybe toss out some of my info and links that may not be correct.

Anyway, thanks for speaking up!
