You may recall that when I ordered my FDNA test I was a bit confused about just which test I was ordering- I thought I got one that had YDNA plus some other things. When I caught on that I would not get YDNA results I sent some more money. Those results came in this week so now maybe we can figure out what this all means (if anything). For openers, I am a R1b1a2. A quick look suggests that I am related to Matthias who turned up in MA in 1632, but I am not necessarily related to the line that extends well before the general "pedigree collapse" and back to De Porte. Just as well; I never really liked castles and all that anyway ;-)
I will be trying to figure this out on a more sophisticated level, but any suggestions are welcome.
I think we got the access problems solved, but let me know if it would be useful for me to change my settings at FDNA.
