I am told my Great Great Grandfather wrote a book in long-hand on the French Revolution I am trying to post message boards on the chance that someone may have knowledge of the book. My Grandfather was born in Alsace-Lorraine region of France in 1835. He came to the U.S. first to Detroit, Michigan around 1870 where he was married and changed his family name to Stock. The family moved to Lapeer, Michigan where the book was last seen. My grandfather was Anthony Stock. If anyone has knowledge of such a book please email me or post a follow up. Also, I don't have anything on my grandfather's line before moving to the U.S.
