Stock WOOD

I wonder if anyone has come across anyone called Stock Wood around the Lancashire area?

My Great Great Great Grandmother was Elizabeth WOOD born Manchester 1783. I am fairly sure she was the daughter of William WOOD and Elizabeth HANKINSON. She had a brother Stock WOOD born 1788.

The surname "Wood" appears as a second name in several members of the family including my Great Grandfather.

My Great Great Grandfather also had a brother Stock Wood BRISCOE.

I just wonder if anyone has come across this combination of names which is quite unusual, I don't have any record of Stock WOOD apart from his christening. I am sure there must be someone called STOCK in an earlier generation.
