Dear Lynn,

I am 64 yrs of age. Born in Eccles, Lancashire, England. My mother was Doris Yates. I have no idea of her origin except that her mother lived in Salford, Lancashire, England.

Your email is of interest, and I sincerely hope that we may have a connection.

My knowledge of the family is alamost nil.

My Grandmother's maiden name ( Robert's wife) was Pickering I understand.

Robert and Clare (my Grandparents) had two boys, Eric (My father) born in April and his brother Vyril. Cyril may have been born in Canada.

As far as I know the family in St John, New Brunswick were probably named Richardson.

Moses and my grandfather Robert were both in
the Royal Canadian Mounted Police toghether.

My son Glen, presently on contract to British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia, did some investigation when taking his flying exams in London and he may know a lot more than I do. In fact I am sure he does. I will send him an email now ( 8 p.m. Tuesday 8 May) and ask him if he can help.

I will communicate again when I hear from him.

Nice to hear from you - maybe, who knows?

Regards

Keith Stockley
