My husband may be a descendent of John Stockley. I have been trying to research the family for some time but with little luck until a few months ago when I found an article about his ggrandfather John W. Stockley in a book about early settlers of Texas. The article said that he was the son of Jeremiah Stockley a planter and slave owner in Accomac County, Va.. I would love to know about Jeremiah and his wife Margaret. If you can make a connection I would love to hear from you. I can be reached directly at:

rlandrum@hal-pc.org

Thanks,

Bobbie Landrum
