I have a Mary Stokely who married William Morgan in Pasquotank County, NC. This Mary was born about 1728 in Pasquotank County. She was the dt. of Joseph Stokely and Anne Delamare. Joseph died and Anne m2 William Bryan. She moved from Pasquotank County to Craven County sometime after her marriage to William. It is possible that Mary and William also went to Craven County which is near Onslow County. William apparently died and Mary remarried as Mary was named in Anne's 1767 will as Mary COOK as were sons Jesse, William, and John Bryan. Dts. named were Mary Cook and Elizabeth Dawson. Does any of this match anything you have?
