Bob, I believe that your Mary Stokley, born abt 1728 would have been too young to be the mother of Luke John Morgan who was born abt 1740. However, it is hard to tell. There were other children:
Joseph, b. abt 1745, Nathaniel, b. abt 1750, Jerusha, abt 1755, Mary Ann, abt. 1758 and
Asa, b. abt 1761, d. 1842 in Limestone, AL. plus others.
