Woodman Immigrated to MD in 1652 to Calvert Co. on the western shore and is reported to have moved to Somerset Co. on the western shore and died there in 1662. In 1658 a Woodman Stoakley witnessed a document in Northampton Co., VA where Richard Hamby gave his Power of Attorney to Thomas Stratton. This is to early to be the Woodman Stockley, son of John and Elizabeth Stockley, so is this the Woodman of Calvert Co? It is ironic that he witnessed a document benefiting Elizabeth's future husband. Help will be greatly appreciated. Jim Kirby slohandx2@aol.com
