I am not a stockley researcher but have a record of a Peter Stockly and Prettyman Stockly inlisting in Captain William Peery's Independent company of foot in the service of the United states. Peter inlisted May 7, 1777 Prettyman inlisted May 7th, 1777 also.Raised for the safe guard of the Pilots and the persons and goods of the well effected subjects of the said States residing near the Town of Lewes and the Coast of Delaware Bay. -Delaware Archives revolutionary war volumn III and index.p 1054 & 1055.

I am looking for a stockley who may have ended up in monroe, noble , belmont ohio area. A widow Margaret Stokley was listed as being able to verify Amos glover inlistment in this same company, he applied for pention in 1843.
