Hi Kevin,

I have tried to get access to the bible but have never seen it. That is why I have verified the info through census. I would love to see if it has any other details.

Mason Co. is 8 counties south & down the Ohio River from Ohio Co. (See ) The Ohio River was a major migration route, so our families may be connected. I find Jacob & William Stokley in the home of Elizabeth Dixon (possibly their mother) about the same time Frederick & his family were in Wheeling. Other Stokleys were in Wood County (also on the Ohio River) and in the central part of what is now WV. Some of our Stokleys were in PA before they settled in WV--their children were born there. Our Jacob was born in DE/MD.

I'd be happy to work with you in our research. You may email me if you would like. You will find my address if you click on my name at the top of this message.
