I'm Sue Alexander, wife of William. My 8th GG were John Stockley and Elizabeth Woodman. At least I think Elizabeth's name was Woodman from all that I have gleaned thus far.
I have many family members from that area including the Towles, Kendalls, Vawters, Vallots, Jenkinsons and Noels. I hadn't realized that there may be a connection to Jamestown until just yesterday!
My husband and I are going to the 400th celebration and I would dearly love to have more concise information on the Stockley/Woodman lines before we go in May. Any others would also be appreciated! Actually, they are my 8th GG twice over due to first cousins marrying in the 4th generation!
Thanks for any help from anyone!
