Oscar: I am also descended from Francis Stockley and Joan Hall. These early days are quite confusing. I have not found any information about Francis' travel to the US. I believe he was Born 1615 to 1620 in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, England; Died 1656 Northampton Co VA; Married C 1640. I also believe his father was John Stockley Born 1600 Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, England; Died after 1620 VA (so Francis may have been brought here by his family); Married 1615 England; Wife unknown. John's Father was another John Born 1570 to 1585 in Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire, England and his Mother was Isabel Moore Born 1580 Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire. Some of this information comes from One World Tree and may or not be accurate. If you can correct any of it I would appreciate hearing from you.
