Do you have the name of the book that this came from and the publishing facts. The Captian Ayres STOCKLEY in this article was the Master of the ship, "Planter", in 1796 and delivered the Houdon statue of George Washington which now stands in the Capitol at Richmond, VA. Ayres STOCKLEY was the son of Nehemiah STOCKLEY and an unknown Ann. Nehemiah died in 1778 in Accomack Co., VA. Thanking You
