Hi Bob,

I have John's father as Francis Stockley born about 1590 or 1600 and died circa 1656. Unfortunately, I cannot find the documentation for that. As far as Francis' father I am at a dead end. I do not have John's mother either.

I do have a copy of John's will which is below:

Will: Plantation at Assawoman being 2700 A. to be equally divided between my sons. To wife Elizabeth the plantation I live on during her widowhood then to son Thomas, should sons die before me divide plantation between my daughters Jane, Hanna, Ann, Elizabeth. Another plantation divided equally between three sons William, Woodman, John. (from Wills and Administrations of Accomack Va 1663-1800)
