Hannah Stofflet married John Smith (Johann Schmitt?)

Searching for any information regarding John Smith (may have been born Johann Schmitt or Schmidt). Hannah (May 31, 1803-October 2, 1880) was erroneously listed in a publication as Hannah Stufflick (should have been Stofflet). John Smith and Hannah married probably before 1825, probably in Lehigh Co., PA and moved to Anthony Twp., Montour Co., PA around 1835. I have hit a wall at John Smith (there are thousands of them as John Smith or Johann Schmitt/Schmidt). "My" John Smith was probably born about Jan. 17, 1796, died April 23, 1877. Known children: Stephen, Jonas, Jane, James, George, Charles, Levi, Mary, Samuel, David, John Troxell, Sarah A., Hannah M., and Rebecca. Any information by any Stofflet researcher who knows Hannah Stofflet Smith's husband's Smith/Schmitt/Schmidt ancestry gratefully accepted. I have some Stofflet genealogy information to trade. Thanks.
