Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Brian
Thanks for your posting-unfortunately your Stokoe doesn't appear to fit in with our Ontario Stokoes. Ours came from Birtley, County Durham via London in 1829 and more from Newbottle/Houghton-le-Spring (in County Durham) in 1871.
Regards from 'the Ontario researchers':
Pam in England
Judy in Ontario
(but keep us in mind if you trace back to County Durham in the 1800s!)
