Source, "Tomah Monitor Herald" October 1918----
Ellsner Edward Stolz son of Mrs. Edith Stolz died October 26, 1918 with pneumonia following influenza.
He was born July 23(8?)and reached the age of 19 years. His young life was mostly spent on the farm.
The funeral was held Wednesday morning at the residence and burial at Oak Grove, Cemetery.(Monroe County at Tomah,WI)
He is survived by his mother and three brothers, Frances, Edwin, and Wilbert and other relatives and friends."

This may be the time the Spanish Influenza reached its peak a lot of people died and events were often cancelled.
