The gentleman who wrote to you regarding most of the Stooksbury's originating in Loyston, TN is correct. My family used to hold their annual family reunion at Reservoir Hill in Norris, TN. It has since moved to Cove Lake located in Caryville, TN. My aunt has considerable knowledge of the family tree. Her name is Arizona Stooksbury Powell of Lafollette. If you'd like her telephone number, email me. Also, my uncle has a great deal of knowledge. He is Ogle Stooksbury. He lives in the Green Acres subdivision in Powell, TN.
