Hi Jack, Sorry for the late reply..have been on holiday.

I think they may be part of my family tree!

I didnt know that Richard married a Margaret Dinwoodie as I found it very coincidental that Thomas married Mary Ellen Jackson and their son Albert born 1919 married a Margaret Dunwoodie in 1946.

I had also looked in the 1891 census where I found the info on Richard and Mary Ellen with children Richard 17, Thomas 14 and Jane 9

I also looked on the 1901 census (when my Thomas b. 1878 would have been 23. The only Thomas I could find was living with a Richard Stopforth and Mary Johnson as the house-keeper? I have started getting alittle confused as I have reason to believe that Thomas b.1878 his father was Richard and was married to Mary Johnson....so getting a few crossed lines...I have ordered my grandfathers birth certificate and will have to see what info it gives on parents and go back from there. Hopefully all will fall into place. Through looking on my family tree I have some info on Stopforth's that are not related, let me know if I can be of any help to you.
