Hi Jack I am so glad this is some help to you I have a picture of the grave, that sadly is no longer there because of vandals..If you send me you e mail addy I will send you a copy, at the bottom of the grave it says William Stopforth 1877....Sams bar is on the right over the canal bridge in appley lane south,hope this helps.Its so sad we are loosing our history like this.
