Anne E. Storms, b.1820, sampler wrought at school, Elizabeth, NJ, in 1832
The November 2007 issue of ANTIQUES magazine on page 21 displays a picture of a sampler wrought in 1832 by Anne E. Storms (b.1820) at Miss Barton's School in Elizabeth, NJ.
This fine sampler, depicting Mt. Vernon, should be made known to the Storms family. I am scanning it in case any of the descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by them. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family, historic, and artistic value.

If it were a sampler by a Pease family member, I'd certainly hope someone would do the same for me.
