I am not related and have no more information but I found this in The Newark Daily Advocate, Thursday Feb. 21, 1895:
That Is Love
Zanesville, O., Feb 21- Alwilda Stotts, who resides near Dresden, was united in marriage to George D. Newell. The wedding was performed in the turnkey of the county jail, where Newell has been lodged to await trial on the charge of assaulting his sister and throwing her out of the house into the snow. The bride walked from her home, a distance of 15 miles.
According to her obituary, Sept 1938, her husband, George Newell, died on May 23, 1932. Alwilda had at least 2 sister & 3 brothers. She was interred at Beatty Cemetery, near Gilbert.
That's all I know. :-)
