Uriah Stotts and Eliz. Purl 1700's & my family tree

I am looking for records/information on Uriah Stotts' ancestors and want to know if anyone has connected them to Scotland/U.K?

I have found good information in Lucille M. Wilkinson's book "Descendants of Uriah Stotts and Elizabeth Purl 1783-1994." to wit:

Uriah Stotts (b.1783 MD, d.1826 OH) married Elizabeth Purl (b.1783 MD d.1851) in 1803 in OH.

Uriah may be the son of Abraham Stotts and Margaret Johnson married 1760 in Maryland.

I helped my father, Wallace Stotts, write a book "Remembrances" for his 80th birthday last year. We have pre-1930 photos of the families of Ozias Stotts, William Henry Stotts, and Elmer Glenn who are my gg grandfather, g grandfather, and grandfather. Please contact me if interested.

My Stotts Family Tree Branch follows. Please contact me if you want to exchange more info. The double hyphen (--) marks my direct ancestors and me (Jennifer). The people listed below the hyphenated people are their children. I.e., Uriah Stotts was my gggg grandfather; he had 6 children who are listed below him. His oldest son, Ozias was my ggg grandfather; he had 11 children who are listed below him. His son, also named Ozias, was my gg grandfather and his 7 children are listed below him. William Henry is my g grandfather and his three children are listed below him. Hi son Elmer Glenn is my grandfather who had 9 children. His son, Wallace Stotts, is my father; he had 7 children.
