Ed, thank you for your reply.I'm really just chasing a rabbit. My g g grandfather married Agnes Elizabeth Stoutamire 1816-1887.
He was John Grooms as was my g grandfather and grandfather. I've never known any of the Stoutamires and wondered if they were still around. Gennie
