Hi Deb, glad I can help you. It took me a long time to get to the bottom of some of the Snider and Stover families and I am not done yet. My "Johannes Stover working file" is only about 59 pages long; I could send it to you if you contact me directly. I see you have blocked your own e address on this forum.

Jacob H. Stover was born Aug. 11, 1810 at Ernestown, died Aug. 3, 1893 at Camden East; his wife was Margaret Hartman born 1808 but I have no date of death for her. Jacob's parents were Johannes Stover born in USA, died Nov. 7, 1859, married to Jemima Hicks 1772-1855. Jacob was one of eight known children, he and his wife Margaret had at least ten children incl. your ancestor Rachel Ann Stover. Rachel Ann was born 1835, but I have no date of death for her. She married Edward Hughes June 14, 1862 but I can't find them after that. Where did they live? I have no names of children for them in my files, but they obviously did have a family.

Thanks from Nora
