Thank you for the reply.
I would be Barbara's great-great great grandson. I am descended through her daughter Caroline who married John Henry Bailey. Their daughter Margaret married Malcolm Stewart and their son Stanley was my maternal grandfather.
Which Hounsell farm is still owned by the family? I used to go with my grandfather fishing on Gull lake in the 1970's and we went in through a Hounsell farm to launch our boat. I believe there were twin brothers who were my grandfather's first cousins who owned the property. One may have been named Wesley. As I recall Barbara and her husband had earlier owned land in Lutterworth Township, prior to that in Dalton and they had earlier still lived in Brock Twp. I have not been working this line for some years, but as I recall I too ran into a deadend in Markham.
