The Jacob Strator who was born in NC in about
1787 and married Obedience Dean in Sumner Co., TN in 1812 is my direct ancestor. I have documented information re his descendants but only circumstantial evidence that he is the son of Henry. Jacob and Henry lived next door to each other in 1820. The only other document I have on Henry is when he posted bond to emanciapate the slave Ben in 1817. They were on the 1820 and 1821 tax lists.
