Grady, if my information is correct, Catherine Strader Sutton would be my ggg-aunt. I have some information from another researcher, family lore and a family bible.

------Johann "Jonathan" STRADER, Sr., born in Germany; died in NC. Children of Johann "Jonathan" STRADER, Sr. are: 1. Jonathan STRADER, Jr., born 15 Nov 1799 in Orange (Alamance) Co., died 25 October, 1823 in Guilford Co., NC., and, 2. Catherine STRADER, born about 1808 in Orange (Alamance) Co., NC; died after 1860; married Andrew SUTTON, 6 Dec 1826, in Guilford Co., NC; born about 1804 in NC; died after 1860.

Jonathan STRADER, Jr. ("Dr." Jonathan STRADER) is my gggrandfather. I have been unable to find further information about Johann's origins in Germany. However, I can send information about Jonathan's descendants, if it would be of interest to you.
