To all of you that have relatives from the John Nichols/Bidey Strader marriage a warning. Only the last two children two girls are from this marriage. All three boys Allen, Field and John and the three girls Temperance, Nancy and Elizabeth are from Johns first marriage to Obediance Robertson. Obediance died about 1785 after her father had given her a slave and John married Bidey then. Then he died in 1787/88.
