Looking for the connections: My gg granmother was Celia Jane Strader. She was from Tennessee. I recently visited TN and found some information. I believe her father to be Pulasky Strader son of Daniel Strader. I am looking for verification of Celia's relationship with Pulasky. My family only knew him by "PU". Most of the information I found in TN thru General Index recs and Registers Notebook listed only my family's initials (most of the time). Based on family stories, I know they owned most of what was called Racoon Valley in TN. Some of the names I found during research and that I was able to make a link that they are family: J.C. Strader, Joseph Strader, Barbara C. Strader, Jas Strader, Daniel Strader, F.L. Strader, P.N. Strader, C.R. Strader, Fanny L. Strader, J.F. Strader, Thomas H. Strader, W.J. Strader, Elizabeth Strader, Callaway Strader, Elen Strader, Linton Strader. These names were taken from the documents in Anderson County. The children I have listed for Daniel> Pulasky, Elizabeth, Calaway, Godfrey, Elen and Linton. The children I have listed for Pulasky are as follows: Celia Jane,Calvin, Jesse, Thomas H., Leona, Susie, Pursha, Lillie, Millard and last child unknown. Based on records in Tn, I have been able to verify some of these lines. However, I have nothing solid on Celia Jane and some others are iffy. If you can, please help. While in TN I took photos of every Strader I came across, even if I did not know their relations to me. Also, I was told by a historian of a family cemetery that was now on private property. Unfortunately, we couldn't get in to visit. Does anyone know where our family is buried? Do we have a book out there yet? Thank you!!!
