The Strader Family that I have claimed descen from, begins with John "Simon" Strader (1721-1800) m Sophia deForest (1721-1802) Their family - Henry 1755-1800; "John" Simon 1758-1846; William abt 1760- and Sophia 1766-1858.
To the best of our knowledge Simon was born in Germany
migrated to tryon County of New York came to Canada as a United Emptre Loyalist 1783. Daughter Sophia md William Clow.
