Hello Kinney:--That was a great site! Thanks for the tip.
I think the discrepency may be that Frederick Sr. was first married to Catherine Fundergury. They had 5 children. His second marriage was to Magdalene Gentis in 1815 and those were the children I listed.

The Biographical Memoirs of Grant County, 1901, Grant County Library in Indiana does not say who the five children of Frederick Strausburg's first marriage were. I looked in Ron Taylor's site to see if the surname Fundergury was listed, and it was not.My guess it: Those children listed as his and Magdalene Gentis' may have been all his children, but in the Grant County material only his children with MG are listed.

I did pick up from Ron's site, new (Gentis) surnames--Maria Elisabetha Linderin, and Balthasar Gentis and wife Christina Dilckes to Wilhem Gentis m. Anne Elizabeth Unknown. From Eva Foglesong/sog, Christian Voglesong and w.Barbara Brackunger.

Thanks again for the website. Perhaps I will look in the LDS site as well. Marilyn
