Hi Marilyn,

It seems the surname has taken many forms but I too am a descendant of your Frederick Strausburg & Magdalene Gentis. Frederick's son Benjamin migrated from Maryland to Springfield,Clark,Ohio. The Gentis family also migrated here in what is now known as German Township. Our line somehow took the surname spelling of Strawsburg. Benjamin's son James Albert (my GG grandfather) later moved to Indiana where Clyde (my G grandfather) was borned. Three children later, Clyde returned to Clark County, Ohio and settled in German Township. It was here Helen (my grandmother) was born and still lives.
