Dear Ronald:--It was good to get your response.I have seen the name written Strawsburg in relation to my Strausburg relatives. In fact, my mother pronounces the name as if its is Strawsburg.(I am trying to remember burg means either castle or town and berg the one or the other.)

I was glad to get the Information about your Benjamin. Do you have the other names of his siblings? Also, I have no information about the Genis' and would appreciate any you may have to share. I have Magdalene Gentis' parents as Daniel Gentis and Eva Foglesog.

One has the feeling that these people all had German roots.Do you know the town in Germany they came from?

My John Strausburg (IN) has the following people in his line: Rust (Rost) Bowman, Coffelt, and Baker.

Thanks again for your information and let me know if there is any I can share. Best, Marilyn Gilbert Komechak
