After gaining information on our Gore line, we were able to get a slightly clearer picture for g-g-grandmom Carrie Streck.
She was born in February 1866 in CT, and married Bridgeport, Connecticut, born John Gore (b. 1863). The 1880 Connecticut census lists her as being born in CT (Connecticut).
Does anyone have a Streck line in Connecticut? A late-1800s offshoot of a New York line perhaps? These Strecks would likely have been in Connecticut in 1860, maybe even 1850.
