We now have even more info on our Strecks. Amelia and XX Streck (his name unkn) immigrated to US at least by 1857, when they had their first two children in New York. By 1861, they had moved to Bridgeport, CT, and are the ONLY Strecks in the 1880 Fairfield County census.

GGG Grandmom Amelia Streck, b. 1835, GER
Her Children:
Amelia Streck, b. 1857 NY
Louis Streck, b. 1859 NY
John Streck, b. 1861 CT
Francis Streck, b. 1863 CT
GG Grandmom Carrie Streck, b. 1865 CT
Bena Streck, b. 1866 CT
Emma Streck, b. 1868 CT
Henry Streck, b. 1872 CT

Several of these Strecks are listed in the 1890 Bridgeport City Directories.
