Hi Lori,
as you know there are many variations for Stremble. (1) Original spelling is Strümpel (2) Strumpel(3) Strimpel (4) Strimple (5)Strimbel (6) Strimble & (7) Stremble

(1) Nicolai ? Strümpel was born in Prussia, his son was (2)Josef Strümpel, who had four sons (3) Jacob Strimbel B:1873, Frank Strimbel B:9/1880 Frenchtown township, Monroe County, Michigan, USA (my GG Grandfather), Michael Strimbel B:after 1880, & Charles Strimbel B: (the youngest). I think all four sons where born in Monroe county, Michigan (USA)

Michael Strimbel was a Customs Officer in Canada, hope this helps! (maybe he is your husbands GG Grandfather?)

If this is your missing link and you find more info, please share it with me, this is all I have. Thanks

Sonya
