Hi Julie, My family name is Stretzinger. Do you know if your family last name was shorten when they entered the USA. My family enter from the 1820's to the 1850's from the Germans to the America's listed on the Passenger list. Many arrived in NY on 09/29/1846. They were on the ship Havre, departed from the Port Havre from Deutschland.
