Mrs. Dorothy Strickle Sparks,
29, of Cowan, Tenn., a former
resident of Springfield, died at
3 p.m. Thursday in Chattanooga.
She was born in Xenia, Nov. 5,
1928, a daughter of Elmer and
Sadie Conklin Strickle.
Suvivors include her husband,
Carlos Sparks, pastor of the First
Nazerine Church in Cowan,
Tenn.; three sons, Gregory, Steve
and Randy; one daughter, Clau-
dia, all at home; three sisters,
Mrs. Mary Finney of Springfield,
Mrs. Ellen Grow of Rantoul, Ill.,
and Mrs. Helen Lloyd of Xenia,
and fours brothers, Wayne of Wil-
mington, Arthur of Xenia, Elmer
of Kings City, Calif. and Gerald
pf Xenia.
Her body will be taken to the
Woods funeral home.

home, for services at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
