Granted to Samuel Striegel a Burgher and goldsmith of Augsburg in the year 1708.

Origin: Germany

Blazon Of Arms:

Quarterly first and fourth or, a jewel set in bands gules the second and third argent a lion rampant or, that of the third contourned, holding in the paw a trefoil vert. Over a mount vert, issuing therefrom three trefoils of the same.

Crest:

Between a vol argent and gules, a lion rampant issuant or, holding between the paws the jewel of the arms.

This information was given to my mother-in-law who paid a professional to research the family name origin.
