Thank you very much for the information. There are a few items that match my families. I have been working from the spellings given to me by Lena Lau, the grand daughter of Nicholas. Now she gave me the whole list of all the 11 children of my Nicholas. He was born 10-20-1849 died 1-14-1929.I also have all the dates for his wife, but the name I have is Elizabeth Strobel b. 3-21-1857 d. 3-14-1937.I just spoke to Lena this week end past. Her father was named "Frank" Striegel. She was the oldest of six children, the first two being born in IL. The family then returned to the family farm in Dubois Co. after the first of the century.I also have some names of who most of these people married and where they went from IN. Do any of these match up to your info? What line of Striegel's are you from? The line I am directly linked to is "Frank" Striegel, he had 6 kids, one named Walter Striegel who has passed away, and I am married to one of his triplet sons! I would like to get in contact with you and compare notes and the documents we have to make this tree solid. There are a lot of Striegel out there that want to know this stuff! Thanks again for the info- Joan Morrow Striegel
