Stringfellow Ancestors From Alabama

I'm searching for any info on my great-great grandfather, Richard Stringfellow, and his family (wife unknown). I don't know where Richard was originally from, but he must have lived in Alabama in the 1860s, because he enlisted into company K of the 45th AL Infantry (CSA) in Macon County, AL on 15 MAR 1862 and appears on a muster roll at Loachapoka (Lee County), AL the same day. I believe he may have been born during the 1830s. He was supposedly killed in the latter part of the War Between the States (late 1864 or 1865), possibly in Tennessee. One of his sons, William Jackson Stringfellow, was my great grandfather. William moved from AL to Douglasville, GA in the late 1800s. William's son, Charles Guy Stringfellow, was my grandfather. Any info on Richard or his family would be greatly appreciated.
